Jayde Barnes
DNP, PMHNP, FNP
Jayde Barnes is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that works with patients of all ages to help them achieve mental wellness. An Idaho native, she graduated from Rigby High School and completed an undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Idaho. She continued her studies in the field of nursing and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Idaho State University.
She has experience working in a variety of health care settings, including an inpatient facility at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, skilled nursing facilities, and several outpatient clinics across Southeastern Idaho. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Jayde worked as an educator for nursing students and helped foster a positive learning environment for new healthcare professionals.
Jayde has experience in the assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, and PTSD, and has a special interest in addiction treatment. She believes in a collaborative and integrative approach to her work that includes psychopharmacology and supportive therapy, and works with clients in developing patient-centered treatment plans that support their goals as individuals.
When she’s not treating patients, she likes to spend her free time traveling, camping, and fly fishing with her family.
